Humans have always needed the land. Today, the land needs humans more than ever. The future of the vine and those who depend on it hinges on this individual and collective awareness.
With 5,000 hectares of vineyards, our winemakers have organized themselves into a community to pool their production and tools. They are committed to ecological transition for the benefit of all. This ensures that passion, quality, and emotion remain intact from the vine to the glass, including the cellar.
Bordeaux Families’ vineyards are cultivated with respect for the environment. Committing to eco-friendly viticulture is our priority.
100% of our properties are engaged in environmental initiatives.
State-of-the-Art Tools
Following the merger with the Sauveterre Blasimon Espiet and Louis Vallon cellars, Bordeaux Families benefits from the latest technologies to continuously improve wine quality: next-generation pneumatic presses, automated flow control, elevators, conveyor systems, gentle tipping mechanisms, and more.
Today, Bordeaux Families vinifies 300,000 hectoliters with a team of experts: oenologists, cellar masters, technical directors, quality service personnel, and cellar workers.
Available in white, rosé, or semi-dry, Crémants de Bordeaux—whose recipes remain confidential—have been crafted by the Louis Vallon cellar since 1995, honoring pure tradition and Bordeaux heritage.
After significant investments in recent years, including automating the reception of hand-harvested grapes destined for crémants, the cellar is now the leading producer of Crémant de Bordeaux, accounting for over a third of Bordeaux’s production, with approximately 40,000 hectoliters annually. Positioned in a growing market, 2 million bottles were sold in 2024. Bordeaux Families aims to increase sales to 4 million bottles by 2026, strengthening its presence in both the French and export markets.
Reinventing Wine by Developing a Range of Dealcoholized Wines, Called NO-LOW
To adapt to changing consumption patterns of alcoholic beverages, Bordeaux Families continues its development with a clear commercial ambition: to expand their product range by introducing dealcoholized wines and canned wines, both in France and for export. The group has decided to invest in a dealcoholization unit to develop a NOLO range. Driven by younger generations seeking a healthier lifestyle, NOLO reinvents traditional alcoholic beverages into low or non-alcoholic drinks.
By offering products from the Louis Vallon and Sauv’terre brands with little or no alcohol, Bordeaux Families unveils its NOLO range.
